Curing Compounds

CETEX LCD Liquid Curing & Densifiers not only cures the green concrete but also hardens it. When LCD is applied, it penetrates and settles in the pores or reacts with the hydroxide and oxides to produce bigger molecules which reduce the porosity of the surface. This traps the moisture of wet concrete, which aids in curing of wet concrete and makes the top layer more compact and dense thereby increases hardness and abrasion resistance of the applied surface. Mild usage of concrete can be started within 24 hours of application. This is beneficial for floors where movement is restricted during curing because of water or coating. ADVANTAGES Due to early usage of surface, further work can be expedited, which saves precious time. No further cleaning / grinding of surface is required. It saves labour and time. Penetrates into the surface - it hardens and decreases porosity of treated surface. This traps water in wet concrete which is used for hydration / curing. It restricts movement of salt from concrete and deposition of salt on the surface. Quality and Durability of concrete surface improves due to lower salt on surface. It provides a tough protected long lasting surface that does not discolor. Improves abrasion resistance of the surface and prevents efflorescence. WAX CURING COMPOUND WCC CETEX-WCC (Wax Curing Compound), wax emulsion based, when applied to freshly placed concrete, quickly forms a wax membrane to maximize water retention in concrete. This results in better cement hydration and concrete strength. It is water based and direct to use. On application it gives a white coating on the surface, which protects the surface from heat and helps in proper application. ADVANTAGES Reduces surface shrinkage & crack formation by eliminating moisture loss from surface. Reduces surface dusting as capillary migration of water to surface is eliminated. Reduces cost of manpower and supervision cost compared to conventional ponding. Eliminates the need of damp hessian, sand or plastic for curing or surface protection. Rapid film formation; enables concrete to hydrate more efficiently. The wax film on the surface decomposes in a few weeks which allows further treatment of the surface. Non flammable, Non toxic, very low VOC, conforms to green building norms. Due to white pigmentation, it reflects the heat and reduces the surface temperature. It is economical to use and for large areas may work out cost effective.

CETEX-ACC (Acrylic Curing Compound), when applied to freshly placed concrete, forms a membrane on fresh concrete surface to maximize water retention for better cement hydration and concrete strength. Ideal for application on interior, exterior, horizontal, and vertical concrete surfaces. Tough & durable finish, offers improved resistance to chemicals, and abrasion. Resists adhesion of mortar droppings to protect concrete floors during construction. Non flammable, Non toxic, very low VOC, conforms to green building norms.
