Nano Silica Activated

CETEX NASA NAno Silica Activated is new generation product specially made for castings like refractories, high strength concrete, etc. It is used as an additive to the wet concrete mix. Hydration of concrete is like a chemical reaction. However due to slow activation of the ingredients and less or nil mobility of the reactants at later stage of hydration, it results in incomplete hydration. Thus complete theoretical potential of strength possible in concrete mix is not achieved even after long duration. NASA, being activated silica, catalyse  the hydration of cement, thereby, it not only results in earlier setting of concrete, but also results in higher strength of concrete.

Dosage

0.5 2.0 % of cementatious matter is added depending on the requirement of mix design. However, fieldtrials should be conducted to determine the optimum dosage to achieve the required condition of the mix.

Application Methods

CETEX NASA should be dosed prior to pour of mix. Suitable careshould be taken to immediately pour wet concrete mix, as workability may falldrastically within few minutes of mixing. Never addthe admixture to the dry mix.

Packing

CETEX NASA is available in 250kg barrel.

Storage

Store in an airtight, sealed container away from sunlight. Temperature should be between 10 ^OC  - 40^OC.  It has shelf life of 6months from date of shipment.
