Battery Fiber - Dynal Flock

CETEX Battery (Dynal) Flock offers mechanical reinforcement to the lead oxide paste on the grid of battery plate, there by reducing oxide shredding and preventing premature failure of the battery. These flocks improve the life of the battery, thus making the battery last longer.

Advantages of the CETEX Battery Flock

• The materialof the flock is polypropylene. The specific gravity ofpolypropylene is 0.91, which is the lightest among all other availableflocks. Thus for the same dosage of flock by weight, the count of flockper dosage is maximum compared to all other types of flock.

  CETEX flock,being pure polypropylene is resistant to chlorine molecule. Thus thereis no chance of chlorine contamination in the battery. (Mod acrylic containschlorine molecule.)

  CETEX flock isresistant to acids, alkalis, most organic solvents, oxidizing agents andheat. Particularly it is resistant to 1.280 sp. gr. sulphuric acid.Moreover it is non-biodegradable. Thus it provides long lastingreinforcement to the paste on the battery plate.

  CETEX BatteryFlocks are cheaper compared to imported materials and are readilyavailable. Moreover, being import substitute, it helps in saving preciousforeign exchange and generates local employment.

  CETEXflocks are available in following cut lengths: 3mm & 4mm; otherlengths can also be supplied on request.

Dosage

0.1% (wt/wt) of the dry weight of the paste.It is recommended to optimize the dosage to suit the requirement.

Packing

It is available in packs of 10 / 25 kgs. Customize packing can be made on request.
